As Sisters of the Transfiguration, we offer our lives to God in and through our life together in Community. We are enriched and shaped by our dedication to the Mystery of the Transfiguration and we strive to be open both to God's revelation of His Son, and, in that Light, to the needs of others.

Our Motherhouse is in Cincinnati, Ohio in the part of the United States referred to as the Midwest.  Our Rule, written by the early Sisters, and revised in the1970's, is uniquely our own, although clearly  influenced by the traditions and practices of Western monasticism. We are a group of women called, and committed, to a community life of both prayer and service, as reflected in the lives of Mary and Martha of Bethany.
