Meals

We are happy to work with you on all aspects of your dining experience at TSC.  We are very flexible, but you must communicate your needs to us in a timely manner.  Let us know what you need – we look for ways to say yes!

All meals at TSC are prepared with rescued food and upcycled into nutritional, made-from-scratch recipes and served by our food rescue ministry, Food for the Soul.

Dietary Needs

All guests must have a meal type selected on the registration form to count toward group meals.  For those with no special diet type, please choose Omnivore.

We are happy to provide vegan, vegetarian and gluten free meals for our guests, and can accommodate common food allergies.  You or your group leader must be very specific in listing these on the registration form.   We are happy to work with you on your menu, but you must communicate your specific needs to us.  For those whose dietary needs we can’t meet, we provide refrigeration space and microwaves for preparing your own meals.

Our kitchen is not able to accommodate requests for Kosher or Halal meals.  All requests for Halal or Kosher meals will be served a vegetarian option.

Group Meals

Meal times are:

  • 8:30 AM - Breakfast
  • 12:00 Noon - Lunch
  • 5:30 PM - Dinner

Meal times are flexible up to half an hour with prior authorization.

At TSC the expectation is that groups come together to mealtime.  We are not set up to serve guests arriving individually over the course of the meal.   While our meals are served buffet-style, they are not all you can eat.  Please limit yourself to one serving until after everyone has been served.

We need to know your group’s first and last meal with us.  We understand that sometimes one or two guests may leave early.  Unfortunately, because we’ve had a number of entire groups leave without notice before their final confirmed meal, there will be a $250 charge to the group for any scheduled meals that are skipped.

Snacks and Other Information

In St. Mary’s, fresh fruit is available to guests at all times.  In St. Mary’s and BethAnna we have baskets of snacks (crackers, chips, granola bars) available for guests.  Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are provided, as is spring water (we ask guests to bring their own refillable water bottle – please no single-use water bottles).

Five of the rooms in St. Mary’s have their own mini-fridge and microwave for guests to bring their own food.  The guest kitchenettes in St. Mary’s also have larger refrigerators, microwaves and sinks.  The kitchen in BethAnna is fully stocked for cooking.   Some groups choose to stay here and cook their own meals.
