The Transfiguration Spirituality Center is a mission of the Society of the Transfiguration, an order of Episcopal nuns based in Glendale, Ohio. TSC opened on October 10, 2010. We have two main buildings for group accommodations – either overnight or for the day – with a total sleeping capacity of 40. We provide facilities for outside groups and sponsor our own retreats and workshops. We also have two guest spaces for singles and two for couples (two single beds in one bedroom) for private retreats. The center sits on our beautiful 22-acre campus, and our guests have access to our gardens, walking paths, and an outdoor labyrinth. All meals provided to our guests are made from scratch in our own kitchen. We pride ourselves on providing a clean, quiet, safe space for our guests. We take radical hospitality very seriously. We welcome groups both secular and religious, of any gender, from a wide variety of backgrounds and faith traditions.
Transfiguration Spirituality Center is a place where the Community of the Transfiguration and the world come together, enriching each other in a spirit of kindness, simplicity and joy. All are welcome, in the name of Christ, to a peaceful place apart for time to rest, reflect and pray. People gather here to learn and exchange ideas, and share with us in friendship, worship and appreciation of nature. It is our hope that every guest will experience refreshment and renewal here with us. In prayer, we strive to be a place of outrageous hope and extravagant hospitality for everyone we meet.
