Sr. Hope Mary, C.T. Grew up in Akron, Ohio and graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in Engineering. She worked in her field at a power plant in Lorain, Ohio attempting to control pollution at the power plant. She came to the Community in the fall of 1992 and was life professed in 1996 on the Feast of St. Matthew. Sr. Hope has worked in a variety of the Sisters’ ministries, and is currently very happily working in the convent oratory. Her work is centered around the worship space, and she finds strength in their corporate worship. She is joyfully the primary caregiver for the convent dog, Luke, who brings joy to her as well as to other people.
