Associates

Today many people are searching for a way to live out a more meaningful spiritual life in the world. As Associates of the Community of the Transfiguration, men and women lay and ordained are offered the opportunity to participate in the spiritual life of the Community as a part of their ongoing life in the world.

Associates are committed Christians who create and keep a rule-of-life. The Associates handbook has guidelines to help individuals as they create a rule.

They may always ask for intercessions and spiritual guidance from members of the Community and are welcome at any of the Communities houses.

Associates are part of our extended family throughout the United States and in many parts of the world. For information on becoming an Associate, contact us This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

 Oblates

Oblates of the Community of the Transfiguration are women and men who, responding to Christ's example and invitation, live out their baptismal covenant by making an offering of self to God through the Community of the Transfiguration.

Each Oblate prayerfully works out an individual way of living a life of self-offering in consultation with the Oblate Director. This self-offerinimg_0857g includes a life of prayer and service through the Community. As they live out their religious vocation within their own life, they are witnesses to the love of Christ and their commitment to the Community. Oblates create a rule-of-life based on the guidelines in the Oblate manual.

If at all possible, Oblates spend some time each year at the Mother House or one of the branch houses. There are Oblate and Oblate Candidates in Ohio, Kentucky and California.
