Since 1980 two or three Sisters have lived and worked in the Diocese of Northern California, where they have served on diocesan commissions and have presented programs, quiet days and retreats for various churches. In the spring and fall they sponsor weekend silent retreats at two different retreat centers for Associates and other interested people.

 

At home in Eureka they are active at Christ Church, participating in almost every phase of parish life, but their primary ministry is hospitality to small groups and individuals. They provide an attractive place for scheduled parish committee meetings, Education for Ministry seminars, Midweek Eucharist, and a monthly meditation group. They welcome individual guests for retreats, quiet time, spiritual direction or a friendly visit over a cup of tea.. The newsletter "C.T. in the West" includes information on upcoming retreats and other items of interest and is mailed several times a year to the many Associates in California and adjacent states .
